I tried to buy XYZ stock from a large online brokerage company, and they wouldn’t place the order. The rep said the brokerage has a list of companies that they will not place orders with, but the rep couldn’t tell me why. They have certainly allowed me to buy stock of other companies [...] I’m trying to start making my own mineral make-up, but I can’t seem to find any place that sells oxides in more quantities than an ounce. If someone knows of a site online that I could buy them in large quantities, and that is the least expensive that would be great. I would like to shop at a place online that sell everything listed and more. I have no idea where to start [...] A local broker or E-Trade, Amer-trade or one of the others. Whats is the safest and best place to buy stock? I know the local broker charges what they want and the more you buy the more they charge. They basically charge what they want. I’d like to buy 1000 shares of Ford and sit on it for a couple of years. No other transactions are planned. Where would be the best place to do this, in terms of convenience in opening an account, and also reliability in terms of them not going broke and my stock disappearing ? Many [...] price in the uk.
