well, i stupidly bought some tinned lobster & roasted artichokes online that had no ingredients listed or images.. anyway, they both came packed in oil… & I HATE OIL more than anything (ok, maybe not ANYTHING lol), the texture makes me completely squirm, forget about things SOAKED in oil.. argh! but i want to somehow salvage the artichokes & lobster..?
anyway, is there any way to get rid of this horrible oily texture on these things? can i just drain them & rinse them under water? (i know oil and water dont mix.. but its better than doing NOTHING maybe?)
perhaps if i drain & rinse the artichokes then grill them they might not be so oily, soggy?
i just thought keep rinsing the lobster, or maybe even subject it to boiling water to get rid of the oiliness its soaked in..?
i dont want to give up on my lobster & artichokes just yet..
would the above ways work 2 salvage them? if not, any other ways? yes, i know some people like things soaked in oil but it makes me gag.. ty! =)

rinse them in running water.
have you tried the artichokes in oil ? fantastic…..try artichokes in brine ?
